Dear friends of Rescue, Boston families, & potential adopters:
Happy Holidays! It's that time of year again... and it's also time to say "thanks again" to all of our faithful supporters. That "little extra for the pups" that many of you so generously send in has helped get us through the last year. There are so many unexpected expenses that come our way (usually medical) and, as much as we would like to, we couldn't go on caring for these little furry refugees without those contributions.
Someone recently was generous enough to donate a 20 ft. boat! We are presently "spiffing it up", and will be offering it for sale on E-bay the first of the year. The donor was able to use this as a substantial tax write-off. So, if you, or someone you know has a boat, a camper or an RV, talk with your tax professional and consider donating it to Rescue. It will certainly help the dogs and may help you in the long run.
Please don't forget that even though your little adopted angel is safe and sound with you in your home, there are others out there that are not as fortunate yet. Please help us to help them. If every person out there who has already adopted from us would remember us over the Holidays with a small, tax deductible gift to help cover costs for the upcoming year, it would make the burdens so much lighter to bear. We try so very hard to keep expenses under control wherever we can, but some things just are what they are.
So, please help us to continue the good work that into which so many of our members have put so much effort. We are really counting on your help to continue the work of saving as many of these little ones as we possibly can. Our wish to you, and yours, is for a wonderful holiday season, and a happy and healthy new year!
